Dwarkadhish Temple
The five-storey temple of the 'King of Dwarka', standing where Krishna's golden city met the Arabian Sea. One of the four sacred Char Dham.

History & significance
Krishna is said to have built the city of Dwarka after leaving Mathura, reclaiming land from the sea. Underwater archaeology off the coast has found submerged structures that keep the legend alive.
The original temple is credited to Vajranabha. The present five-storey Jagat Mandir rests on 72 pillars and rises 78 metres.
The 52-yard flag atop the spire is changed five times a day, each time by a different devotee family.
